MapForEvr Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MapForEvr handles information when you use the game and its online services.

1. Information we collect and process

Account identifiers

MapForEvr allows you to sign in using Google or Apple.

When you sign in, we receive a unique account identifier from the selected authentication provider. We use this identifier to recognize your MapForEvr account.

MapForEvr does not permanently store your Google or Apple email address or provider profile name as part of your account.

Player ID and display name

Each MapForEvr account has a unique Player ID. You also choose a public display name.

Your display name, Player ID and certain game-related profile information may be visible to other players and may be searchable through social features.

Game progress and gameplay information

We store information required to provide and synchronize your game progress, including information such as:

• player level and experience;
• heroes and hero progression;
• inventory and rewards;
• quests and achievements;
• ranked progression and results;
• other account-linked game state required for MapForEvr features.

Multiplayer and social information

When you use multiplayer or social features, MapForEvr processes information necessary to operate matchmaking, games, friend relationships, invitations and player search.

This may include match identifiers, player slots, public player information, friendship state, temporary online presence, game state and match results.

Other players may see your public display name, Player ID and certain gameplay information where required for multiplayer or social features.

Authentication and session information

MapForEvr uses its own session tokens after successful Google or Apple authentication. These tokens are used to authenticate requests to MapForEvr services.

Session information is removed from the device when you log out.

For Sign in with Apple, MapForEvr may securely store an encrypted Apple refresh token on the server so that Apple authorization can be revoked if you permanently delete your MapForEvr account.

Technical and diagnostic information

We process limited technical information required to operate, secure and troubleshoot MapForEvr. This may include request identifiers, response status and timing, technical error codes, match diagnostic information, performance data and temporary network information.

Information stored only on your device

MapForEvr may store local game content on your device, including maps, saved games, scenarios, configuration information and other offline game files.

2. Why we use this information

• authenticate users;
• provide and maintain MapForEvr accounts;
• synchronize game progress;
• provide progression, quests and rewards;
• operate multiplayer, social features and matchmaking;
• display public player information;
• prevent abuse and duplicate rewards;
• maintain service security and reliability;
• investigate technical problems and improve performance.

3. Google and Apple authentication

MapForEvr uses Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple. Google and Apple process information according to their own privacy practices.

Gameplay progress, rewards and other MapForEvr game state are not sent to Google or Apple as part of normal gameplay.

4. Hosting and service providers

MapForEvr online services are hosted using Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the eu-north-1 region.

5. Advertising, analytics and tracking

MapForEvr currently does not integrate third-party advertising networks, advertising attribution systems or third-party behavioral analytics services.

We use limited technical diagnostics and performance measurements for service operation and troubleshooting.

6. Data retention

Account information and account-linked gameplay information are generally retained for as long as your MapForEvr account exists.

Temporary authentication, presence, invitation and matchmaking information may be retained only for short operational periods.

Technical logs and database backups are generally retained for up to approximately 30 days, subject to normal operational processing and maintenance schedules.

7. Account deletion

You can permanently delete your MapForEvr account from within the game.

Account deletion removes active account-linked information including your account, authentication identities, Player ID, display name, progression, inventory, quests, rewards and other account-linked gameplay data.

Where applicable, MapForEvr also attempts to revoke the associated Sign in with Apple authorization.

Some information may remain temporarily in technical logs or backups for up to approximately 30 days as part of normal retention.

Locally stored maps, saved games, scenarios and other offline files on your device are not automatically deleted when you delete your online account.

8. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information.

Information may be processed or shared only where necessary to operate MapForEvr, including with:

• Amazon Web Services, for hosting and infrastructure;
• Google, when you use Google Sign-In;
• Apple, when you use Sign in with Apple;
• other MapForEvr players, where limited public profile or gameplay information is necessary for multiplayer or social features.

9. Security

MapForEvr uses technical measures intended to protect account and authentication information, including encrypted HTTPS connections, server-side authentication validation, restricted handling of provider credentials and encrypted storage of Apple refresh tokens.

10. Your choices and rights

You may log out, change your public display name subject to game rules, permanently delete your account, or contact us regarding your information.

11. Children's privacy

MapForEvr is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe information relating to a child has been collected improperly, contact privacy@mapforevr.com.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if MapForEvr features, infrastructure or data practices change. The current version will be published at this address.
